A RESOLUTION APPROVING NO PARKING ON THE WEST SIDE OF
ELDERBERRY STREET
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa is responsible to determine where
certain traffic control devices such as no parking zones are to be placed as defined in
Chapter 61 of the Tiffin Municipal Code; and,
Whereas, the Council has determined that additional no parking on the west side of
Elderberry Street from Tall Grass Avenue to Moon Flower Avenue is necessary; and,
Whereas, with the passage of this resolution the Tiffin City Council does hereby
authorize and direct the purchase and placement of `No Parking' signs on the west side
of Elderberry Street between the above mentioned streets,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa that parking
shall not be allowed on the west side of Elderberry Street from Tall Grass Avenue to
Moon Flower Avenue and no parking signs shall be placed between those streets.
On the 20th day of September, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,
Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-082, A
RESOLUTION APPROVING NO PARKING ON THE WEST SIDE OF ELDERBERRY
STREET and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson
Schnedler.
Ayes: Orris, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2022-082, A RESOLUTION APPROVING NO
PARKING ON THE WEST SIDE OF ELDERBERRY STREET to be adopted and
signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 20th day of September, 2022.
