A RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 20, 2022, FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING TO PARTIALLY VACATE THE STORM SEWER/DRAINAGE EASEMENT
ON LOT 2, PRAIRIE VILLAGE COMMERICAL DEVELOPMENT — PART 1, TIFFIN,
IOWA
Whereas, As part of the preliminary plat proceedings for future Prairie Village
Commercial — Part 3, Developers/Owners intend to create an outlot ("Outlot Z"), which
will serve as a storm water detention basin for all lots in all Prairie Village Commercial
Developments; and
Whereas, the Developers/Owners have requested that certain drainage/ storm sewer
easements established as part of Prairie Village Commercial Development — Part 1 be
partially vacated and new storm sewer and/or drainage easements established;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
setting a public hearing date of September 20, 2022, to vacate the storm
sewer/drainage easement for Lot 2, Prairie Village Commercial Development — Part 1.
On the 6th day of September, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-077, A
RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 20, 2022, FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING TO PARTIALLY VACATE THE STORM SEWER/DRAINAGE EASEMENT
ON LOT 2 OF PRAIRIE VILLAGE COMMERCIA DEVELOPMENT — PART 1, TIFFIN,
IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris.
Ayes: Havens, Orris, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2022-077, RESOLUTION NO. 2022-077, A
RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 20, 2022, FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING TO PARTIALLY VACATE THE STORM SEWER/DRAINAGE EASEMENT
ON LOT 2 OF PRAIRIE VILLAGE COMMERCIA DEVELOPMENT — PART 1, TIFFIN,
IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 6th day of September, 2022.
