the Town Hall in Gulf Stream Golf Club, Florida on December 7,1949.

The minutes of the meeting held on November 9th,1949 were read and
approved.
The Following bills which had been paid since the meeting held on
November 9th were approved.

Officer E.W. Cooper reported in person and discussed sundry matters.
He was then excused from the meeting.
Town Clerk Wm.J.Bauer reported the balance in the bank as of this
date and reported that 1949 Real Taxes were approximately 50% paid.
Vice Mayor Wm.T. Jebb reported on some type lights that were being
installed by the Power Company, for staettllighting purposes,
Town Clerk Bauer was instructed to check costs with the Power
Company and the Commissioners voted that if the additional cost
per month was approximately $540, to install the new type of light
fixture.
Town Clerk Wm.J.Bauer said he would report at the next meeting
on costs etc relative to Watchmens Time Clocks.
Mayor L. Seton Lindsay said he would report at the next meeting
on result of conversation with General Carter of the Gulf Stream
Golf Club relative to the Club putting a py pass pipe around the
chlorinator so that the Town Residents could still procure water
if the Chlrinatior were in need of repairs.
Upon resolution passed by all three Commissioners it was voted
that the salary of E.W .Cooper, Town Policeman, be increased to
$250.00 per month as of December 1st. 1949.
The Commissioners voted that Harry Purdom be paid $25.00 for
,I services rendered in connection with reading water meters and attend-
ing to chlorinator.

The above meeting was adjourned and voted that it be carried on
until December 13th when all Commissioners would meet at the
residence�ayor L. Seton Lindsay at 12 noon.

Meeting of the toast Commissioners of the Town of (gulf Stream,
Gulf Stream Florida, held at the residence of Mayor Commissioner
L; Seton LindsElyon December 13,1949 at 12 noon. This meeting was
an adjournement of the meeting held on December 7th,1949.

The minutes of theadjourned meeting was read and approved.
The tax collector presented form of water bill to be used in
billing water consumers for water supplied by the Town, said
form of Water bill was approved by all Commissioners present.
The Town Clerk also presented form of notice of resolution
to be mailed to all residents of the Town calling their attention
to garbage disposal. Said form of notice was approved and ordered
mailed.
Mayor Commissioner L. Seton Lindsay reported that planes had been
landing on the Polo Fields and upon motion duly made, recorded and
carried by all Commissioners present, it was voted to prohibit such
practice, same being dangerous to School Children and to Polo Ponies.
Discussion was held on changing the Town Hall from the Gulf Stream
k Golf Club to the office of Webb Brothers in the South end of the
Town of Gulf Stream. It was also discussed engaging the lady who
represents Webb Bros in the above mentioned office as Deputy Clerk
for the Town of Gulf Stream and Vice 1'layor Wm.T. Jebb,Jr. volunteered
to contact Mr. Blaine Webb to see if arrangements could be made
for the use of Mr. Webbs office and engagement of his Clerk on behalf
of the Town for part time services.
Town Attorney Ma.C.Y. Byrd suggested that a change could be made in
the Tax Roll records of the Town that would be benificial to the Town
and upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, Mr. Byrd was instruct-
ed to present his ideas or suggestions at a later meeting.
The Town Commissioners voted that Tax Cole ctor Wm. J.Bauer be
empowered to engage Clerical aid in making out Water bills etc.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it
adjourned.
