CALL TO ORDER
The Council "Brown Bag" Work Session of December 30, 2004, was convened at 12:00
P.M. by Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Brown, Harvey, Layton, and Viessman
Absent: Berry, Crane, Ferguson, Martin, Schnitzler, and Vogel
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
Bill 2004 -116:
Mr. Alan Mudd, Human Relations Commission, was present to make a presentation
regarding this bill. Following his presentation, questions were asked by the Council.
Public Hearings:
City Planner Janice McMillan indicated a public hearing for Bill 2004 -115 should appear on
the agenda under "Public Hearings." The City Clerk will make the necessary correction to
the agenda.
Bill 2004 -125:
There will be a substitute drafted which will make the bill "gender neutral."
Bill 2004 -127:
Councilman Kevin Brown requested that he be added to this bill as a co- sponsor.
Bill 2004 -117:
Councilman Kevin Brown stated he will withdraw this bill.

Unfinished Business:
Mayor John Landwehr announced that the city government in Muenchberg, Germany, has
approved the partnership relationship with our city.
No official actions were taken since this was a work session only.
The meeting adjourned at 12:50 P.M.
