HomeMy Public PortalAbout2015-041 Resolution Approving Plans and Ordering Independence Beach Improvement ProjectMember Martin introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.2015-41 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS ACCORDING TO FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING INDEPENDENCE BEACH IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to previous actions by the city council, city staff has prepared plans and specifications for the overlay and shouldering work for the Independence Beach Improvement Project and has presented such plans and specifications to the council for approval; and WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given and the hearing was held on May 19, 2015, at which hearing all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby adopted. 2. The above -described improvement is necessary, cost effective and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report. 3. The improvement is hereby ordered as proposed. 4. The improvement project will be constructed using the 2015 materials bids previously accepted by the city council. Dated: May 19, 2015. ATTEST: Scott T.
