Consideration Local Requests &Applications-Funding, Special Events, Alcohol License 1 Alcohol License Request—Tybee Island Bait and Tackle, Retail Beer/Wine-Package Sales Only, Consumption on Premises Prohibited. Sunday Sales (new owner-replacing Tybee's Bait and Tackle at Lazaretto) X. Consideration of Bids, Contracts, Agreements and Expenditures 1 Proposal: Raise the Annual Fire Protection Subscription in Unincorporated Tybee Island from $85/year to $100/year 2 Purchase 2 VW Passat's at $25,422 each instead of 2 Dodge Chargers for TIPD Patrol Cars — Price for VW Passat is based in Chattanooga, TN quote which was lowest quote to date. Budget Line Item: 100.3210.54.2200. 3 Budget Transfer: To request the City Council's approval to transfer $5,844 within the general fund's operating and capital budget for fiscal year 2013-2014 from the contingency expense line item to the Police Department's operating and capital budget. This will affect the operating budget and capital budget by $5,844. The Police Department's vehicle capital line item (100.3210.54.2200) will increase from $68,000 to $68,844; increase their small equipment line item (100.3210.53.1600) by $5,000 from $25,000 to $30,000; and decrease the contingency expense line item by $5,844 from $50,000 to $44,156. 4 Out of State Employee Travel Request. The Police Department is requesting the council's approval to allow three police department employees permission to travel out of state to Tennessee to pick up the two new police vehicles XI.
