�'9HEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of filing list of unpaid
assessments was duly given in the manner'and form required by law,
that the warrant, assessment and diagram were recorded on the 27th
day of Sdovember, 1924, for the work done and improvement made,by ,
HAZI,-JOHNSO?�T COMPADiY, under that certain contract awarded. to them
on the lOth day of September, 1924, for the improvemont of Franklin
Street, Penn Street, tiViley Strset, Grant Street, Bullis Street,
Alamo Cour.t, and portions of Alameda Street, the.Idorth RoadvYay of.
Fernwood Avenue and Bellinger Street, in said City o£_Lynwood, and -
that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the
Street Superintendent of said City together with a written state-
ment of all payments received upon the said assessment, and after
the expiration of twenty (20) full days from the data of said
warrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made and filsd with
the City Clerk of the said City of Zynwood, a complste list of a11
assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on
. file in the offics oi the City_Clerk of the said city, now upon
evidence shown this Board determines that the assessments therein
mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggre;ate thereof being the
swn of Twenty-two Thousand Eight Hundred right and 68�100 Dollars
(�22,808.68), and that Assessments Nos. 23, 24, 46, 71, 72, 115,
116 and 147, and no others, have since been paid, and that there
now remains ths sum of Twenty-two Thousand One Hundred Twenty-Nine
and 15/l00 Dollars (�22,129.15), upon the assessments.shown upon
said list other than those hereinabove last noted as havin�,been
paid.
Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 202
of the Board of Trustees of the City of lynwood, passed on the 23rd
day of July, 1924, for a complete description of the work herein
mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments filed as above
noted Yor the assessments unpaid.
�;1\TD 4JfIEREAS, interssted persons �vere notified in the manner
required by law to appear before the Board of Trustses of the said
City of I.ynwood, California, in the Council Chamber of the City
Hall, in said �ity, at the hour oY eight o'clock p. m. of L'�ednesday,
the 21st day of January, 1925, and show cause why bonds should not
be issued upon tho securit'y of the.unpaid assessments shown on said
Street Superintendent's list; and
1�II�REA5, notice was duly given in the manner and form required
' by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments, bearing
interest at the rate of seven per cent (7�) per.annum, will be
issued hereunder in the manner provided.in the "Improyemert Bond Act
of 1915 , the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine (9)

, years from the 2nd day of July next succeeding ten (10) months from
their date. �
And all interested persons having appeared before this Board
of ^trustees and having been given full opportunity to shovr cause
why bonds ahould not be issued upon the securit;� of the unpaid
assessments sho�yn on said list, and no objections having been
presented,. , ,
PTOW BE IT RESOLV�D, that the Board of° Trustees does hereby iind
and determine that no cause has been shown why bonds should not be..
issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments and does hereby
overrule all objections thereto, and does hereby direct the issuance
of said bonds, and further; + �
BE IT RESOI,UED AS r 0I,L0IdS, that Uonds shall be issued upon the
security of said unpaid assessments to said amount of Twenty-two
Thousand One Hundred Twenty-IQine and 15/100 Dollars (�22,1'L9.15).
The said bonds shall be ninety (90) in number, shall be dated
January;i21, 1925, and bear interest at the rate of seven p,er cent .
(77) per ar_num, and the denominations of said bonds and the dates
of the respective maturities thereof, shall be as follows: . .
