CALL TO ORDER
The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of February 21, 2005, was convened at 5:45 P.M.
by Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Brown, Ferguson, Harvey, Layton, Martin, Schnitzler Viessman, and
Vogel
Absent: Berry and Crane
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
Addition of Agenda Item:
Mayor John Landwehr stated that the proclamation he mentioned at the February 17 Brown
Bag meeting will actually be a resolution, and therefore would need to be added to the agenda
for consideration by the Council at tonight's meeting. City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus stated
that the Council may add that item to the agenda in this meeting if they wish. A motion was
made by Councilman Kevin Brown to add Resolution RS2004 -17 to the agenda for tonight's
meeting, seconded by Councilman Mike Harvey, and approved unanimously.
RS2004 -16
Mayor Landwehr asked if it would be possible to just announce at this meeting that the
resolution was up for consideration, but leave it tabled for the next two weeks to allow the
public and Council Members to take a closer look at the Affirmative Action Plan before it is
adopted. Staff stated they would have no problems with the two -week delay.
The meeting adjourned at 5:50 P.M.
