CALL TO ORDER
The Council requested Councilman Brian Crane to preside at the "Brown Bag" meeting of
March 4, 2005, in the absence of both Mayor Landwehr and President Pro Tempore Edith
Vogel. Councilman Crane consented to preside, and called the meeting to order at 12:08
P.M.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Crane, Ferguson, Layton, Harvey, and Martin
Absent: Brown, Schnitzler, Viessman
*Berry (arrived at 12:12 PM) and * *Vogel (arrived at 12:10 PM)
Mayor John Landwehr arrived at 12:22 PM and requested that Councilman Crane continue
to preside for the remainder of the meeting.
A quorum was not present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
* Councilman Michael Berry arrived at the meeting at this point
* *Councilman Edith Vogel arrived at the meeting at this point.
Public Hearings:
City Planner Janice McMillan stated that a public hearing associated with Bill 2004 -140
should have appeared on the agenda. A motion was made by Councilman Edith Vogel to
add the public hearing to the appropriate place on the agenda, and add voting on the
associated bill (2004 -140) immediately after the public hearing. Motion was seconded by
Councilman Dean Martin, and approved unanimously.
New Business:
COUNCIL WORK SESSION MARCH 4, 2005
Assistant to the City Administrator Melva Fast handed out information on the AmerenUE
grant, and asked if the Council would consider introducing a bill to accept the grant the
authorize a supplemental appropriation at the March 21 Council meeting.
** *Mayor John Landwehr arrived at this point in the meeting.
There being no other business brought forward, the meeting adjourned at 12:25 P.M.
