AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2011 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for calendar year
2011 on September 30th, 2010 with Ordinance 26-2010; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major budget
classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount set out
in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and without the
approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the 2011 budget be amended as follows:
A. General Fund — Metropolitan Development
Delete $3,500.00 from Part Time Salaries
Account number 101.07.070.110.000.1198
2. Add $500.00 to Legal Publications
Account number 101.07.070.110.000.3310
Add $3,000.00 to Repair and Maint. - Vehicles
Account number 101.07.070.110.000.3621
