SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS -
MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 12, 2018.
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their regular meeting of September 12, 2018 .
BACKGROUND:
On September 12 , 2018 the Comm ission held their regularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
The following is a summary of actions taken at the September 12 , 2018, meeting :
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner-Blatt, Kwan , Palmieri , Nimri, Clift
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused: Commissioner-None
2. CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of the July 11, 2018 meeting .

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held six hearings in person . Three citations were dismissed , two
citations were upheld and one citation was continued to the next regular
Transportation and Public Safety Commission Meeting.
The Commission held five hearings by written declaration. Four citations were
upheld and one citation was dismissed.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reviewing the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2018-19 City Budget.
