SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS -
MEETING OF OCTOBER 10,2018
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their regular meeting of October 10, 2018.
BACKGROUND:
On October 10, 2018 the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
The following is a summary of actions taken at the October 10, 2018 , meeting:
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner-Blatt, Kwan, Palmieri , Nimri, Clift
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused : Commissioner-None
2 . CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of the September 12, 2018 meeting.

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held six hearings in person . Two citations were dismissed , three
citations were upheld and one citation was continued to the next regular meeting .
The Commission held four hearings by written declaration. One citation was
dismissed and three citations were upheld.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reviewing the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2018-19 City Budget.
