You should be able to view your request at the following link: http://www2.gulf-stream.org/weblink/O/doc/I03156/PaizeI.asox In light of the breadth of your request, which covers "all records (including, without limitation) text messages and emails" sent or received by the referenced individuals during a nearly five and a half-year period, producing all records responsive to your request will require extensive clerical or supervisory assistance. The Town has spent at least 15 minutes on your request and now estimates that to respond to your request will require approximately an additional half hour of IT support at $95.00 per hour, the labor cost of the personnel providing the service, per Fla. Stat. § 119.07(4)(d). If the costs of producing these documents will exceed your deposit, the Town will provide you with an initial production of responsive records and an estimate for the production of any additional responsive records. If the costs of production are less than the deposit, the Town will provide you with the responsive records and a refund. (1/2 hour @ $95.00 = $47.50) = Deposit Due: $47.50 in cash or check. Upon receipt of your deposit, the Town will use its very best efforts to further respond to your public records request in a reasonable amount of time. In your original public records request, you also requested that the Town provide you with the approximate costs to fulfill this public records request in advance of production, and stated that you required approval of any costs in advance of any costs being imposed to the Requestor by the Agency. In response to your request for an approximate cost to fulfill this public records request, and due to the nature or volume of your public records request, the Town has requested a deposit prior to production of records to cover the special service charge for the extensive use of information technology resources, per Fla. Stat. § 119.07(4)(d). The figure provided to you is reasonable and based on the approximate cost the Town would incur for such extensive use of information technology resources as indicated in our letter. As our letter further indicated, you have requested "all records (including, without limitation) text messages and emails " sent or received between the referenced individuals during a nearly five and a half year period. Upon receipt of your deposit, the Town will use its very best efforts to further respond to your public records request in a reasonable amount of time.
