CALL TO ORDER
The April 29, 2005, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:00 PM by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Brown, Crane, Ferguson, Harvey, Layton, Martin, Schnitzler, and
Vogel
Absent: Berry and Pope
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
Announcements:
Councilman Brian Crane stated he will want to mention the Lewis and Clark event coming
up in the near future.
Bills Introduced:
2005 -10: Discussion was held regarding "grandfathering out" some developments.
2005 -11: Mayor John Landwehr will ask the City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus to what
extent he should recuse himself on this issue since he has a conflict of interest.
Appointments:
Discussion was held regarding which boards or committees members of the Council wished
to be appointed to. Councilman Mike Harvey requested if a list could be compiled showing
the different meeting dates for the various committees so they can keep track of the
meetings they should plan to attend.
