SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS -
MEETING OF DECEMBER 12,2018.
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their regular meeting of December 12, 2018.
BACKGROUND:
On December 12,2018 the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
The following is a summary of actions taken at the December 12, 2018 meeting:
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner-Blatt, Kwan, Nimri , Clift
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused: Commissioner-Palmieri
2 . CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes, as amended, of the November 14, 2018
meeting.

3 . PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held seven hearings in person . Six citations were upheld and one
was continued to the next regular Transportation and Publi c Safety Comm ission
Meeting .
The Commission held four hearings by written declaration . Four citations were
upheld .
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reviewing the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City 's
Strategic Goal of Citizen ~ducat i on and Commun ication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2018 -19 City Budget.
