CALL TO ORDER
The June 3, 2005, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:07 PM by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Brown, Crane, Layton, Martin, and Schnitzler
Absent: Berry, Ferguson, Harvey, Pope, and Vogel
A quorum was not present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
Consent Agenda:
Councilman Brian Crane stated he would ask that item (c) pertaining to permissive use on
Boonville Road be removed for separate consideration. Some Council Members asked for
an explanation for the reason this item now needs to come before the City Council as they
had voted on the matter at the Public Works Committee meeting. City Counselor Nathan
Nickolaus explained that all Permissive Use applications require a vote by the City Council
as the final approval, regardless of the approval of the Public Works and Planning
Committee.
New Business:
Councilman Brian Crane asked to receive information regarding the status of the
management study which was recently approved by the Council.
Councilman Brian Crane stated there will be a quick meeting of the Conference &
Convention Center Committee immediately following the Council meeting Monday night to
elect officers. He stated he would give the City Clerk the information needed to post an
agenda for that meeting after the Brown Bag is over.
