PRESENT: Councilmember —Chavez, Sternquist, Yu, Fish (teleconference
from 2090 Verbena Drive, Meridian, Idaho 83642), Man
ABSENT: Councilmember—None
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Cook, Assistant City Attorney Murphy, City Clerk Kuo
Councilmember Chavez made a motion to excuse Councilmember Yu. Seconded by
Councilmember Sternquist,
Councilmember Yu arrived to the meeting at 6:45 p.m.

4. CLOSED SESSION
A. Purpose: Employee Performance Evaluation

City Council recessed to closed session at 6:34 p.m. and reconvened with all members
present at 7:34 p.m.

CLOSED SESSION STATEMENT
Assistant City Attorney Murphy reported that City Council continued Closed Session Item
4A "Employee Performance Evaluation". There is no other reportable action.
Assistant City Attorney Murphy reported that City Council met in Closed Session regarding
Closed Session Item 413, two items of "Anticipated Litigation". On one matter of
"Anticipated Litigation". On one matter of "Anticipated Litigation", City Council directed the
City Attorney to file comments expressing the City's concerns about the EI Monte project, a
medical cannabis growing and processing facility, which is adjacent to Temple City
residential neighborhoods. On the second matter of "Anticipated Litigation", there is no
reportable action.
5. ADJOURNMENT
The City Council Special Meeting was adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
