CALL TO ORDER
The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of July 5, 2005, was convened at 5:45 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Berry, Brown, Crane, Harvey, Martin, Pope, Schnitzler and Vogel
Absent: Ferguson and Layton
quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGEN
DA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
CONSENT AGENDA:
Councilman Kevin Brown stated if there is no time constraint for approval of item "D" (bid 2121
renewal for uniform rental) that he would like more time to review all the material since he has
been out of town and did not have time to read everything in his packet. Staff stated there
would not be a problem waiting until the next Council meeting to approve this item. Councilman
Brown stated he will be requesting that the item be held over.
BILLS INTRODUCED:
2005 -27: City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus distributed a substitute bill and explained the
changes which the substitute addresses.
BILLS PENDING:
2005 -30: Councilman Michael Berry and Councilman Brian Crane both had questions
regarding this bill. Following their questions, Councilman Jonathon Schnitzler stated he would
agree to place the bill on the Informal Calendar tonight to allow more time for discussion of the
topic.
2005 -25: Councilman Kevin Brown stated he would not vote for this bill if the third -party
agreement has not been finalized and is in place.
