Mayor Man called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 4:33 p.m. in the Council
Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmember-Chavez, Sternquist, Yu, Fish, Man
ABSENT: Councilmember-None
ALSO PRESENT: Deputy City Clerk Nunez
3. NEW BUSINESS
A. INTERVIEW FOR PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSIONER VACANCY
The City Council is requested to interview applicants to fill the unexpired seat on the
Parks and Recreation Commission expiring June 30, 2020.
City Council interviewed three applicants, discussed and collaborated on the candidate
interviews, and unanimously approved to appoint candidate Jose Tarin to the Parks and
Recreation Commission to fill the unexpired vacant seat (i.e. 07/01/2018-06/30/2020) on
the Parks and Recreation Commission.

The City Council Special Meeting was adjourned at 5:29 p.m.
