Mayor William Man called the Special Meeting to order at 7 :00 a .m . in the City Hall
Community Room located at 9701 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City .

Captain Flores gave the State of the Station Presentation .
Deputy Miranda provided a brief overview of the number of sex offender
registrants , parolees , and p robationers in the City.

Deputy Miranda provided an update regarding arrests and operations in the
City.

Councilmember Chavez left the meeting at 7 :17 a .m. and returned at 7 :19
a .m .

Deputy Miranda provided an overview of crime trends in neighbori ng cities
affecting Temple City .

Deputy Miranda provided an overview of notable arrests made in the City.

Deputy Miranda provided an overview of traffic issues in the City .
F. CRIME AND TRAFFIC STATISTICS
Deputy Miranda provided an overv iew of the crime and traffic statistics.
G. SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT TEAM ACTIVITIES
Deputy Miranda provided an update on the special assignment team
activities.
H. PUBLIC OUTREACH I EVENTS
Deputy Miranda reported on the public outreach conducted by the special
assignment team .
I. UPCOMING EVENTS FOR FEBRUARY 2019
Deputy Miranda announced upcoming meetings and events that wi l l be
conducted in the City .
City Manager Cook informed Council that City staff w il l be attending the LASD
City Manager's Educational Seminar.
Mayor Pro Tern Fish asked staff to continue to look into the possibil ity of
partnering with 3M for safety and security w i ndow film for glass s li ders . She
also inquired about the partnership with Ring , Inc. and attendance numbers at
neighborhood watch .

Jerry Jambazian , Temple City Resident , gave t ips on how to prevent
commercial burglaries .
