Work Session - Call to Order 6:00 PM
A. Roll Call
The City of Tiffin City Council held a work session Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the City Hall Council
Chambers. Mayor Berner called the meeting to order at 6:02 PM. Upon roll being called the following
members were present: Chris Olney, Skylar Limkemann, Al Havens, Eric Schnedler. Absent: Tim Orris.
Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt and City Clerk Abigail Hora.
B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve agenda by Limkemann.
Second by Schnedler.
All ayes, agenda approved.
C. Discussion and Update on Potential Joint Public Safety Facility
Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt discussed Joint Public Safety Facility with City Council.

Motion to approve Ordinance No. 2022-498 An Ordinance Amending the Official Zoning Map
of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to Rezone Lot 55, Madden Addition From R-2 to R-2/OPD in the City
of Tiffin, Iowa, Johnson County, Iowa and Legally Described Herein by Havens.

6. Discussion and Consideration of Quote for Additional Baseball/Softball Fields and Council Action
as Needed. Motion to approve $30,000 from the recreation program and $30,000 from additional
funds by Schnedler.
Second by Olney.
Discussion: Council would like a 3-to-5-year projection on recreation programs in the future.
All ayes, motion carried.
7. Discussion and Consideration of One-time Water and Sewer Adjustment for 709 Rolling Hills
Drive and Council Action as Needed. Motion to approve by Havens.

an essential service in a further discussion as well as LOST.
