SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS -
MEETING OF JANUARY 23, 2019 .
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commiss ion (Commission) actions from their regular meeting of January 23 , 2019 .
BACKGROUND:
On January 23 , 2019 the Commission held their regularly schedu led meeting .
ANALYSIS:
The following is a summary of actions taken at the January 23, 2019 meeting:
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner-Blatt, Palmieri , Nimri, Clift
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused: Commissioner -Kwan
2 . CONSENT CALENDAR
The Comm iss ion approved the minutes , as amended , of the December 12 , 2018
meeting .

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held four hearings in person. Two citations were upheld and two
were dismissed.
The Commission held six hearings by written declaration. Five citations were upheld
and one citation was dismissed.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reviewing the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2018-19 City Budget.
