AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION
OF A GRANT FROM THE AREA 9 AGENCY
WHEREAS, The Area 9 Agency has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, The City of Richmond desires to submit a grant application to obtain funding for
Roseview Transit transportation services from fiscal year 2011 to 2012; and
WHEREAS, A minimum local match of Fifteen Percent (15%) or Seven Thousand Four
Hundred Fifty Dollars and Forty -One Cents ($7,450.41) is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Area 9
Agency to help fund the Roseview Transit transportation services from fiscal year 2011 to 2012.
2. The City of Richmond is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to
Forty Two Thousand Two Hundred Nineteen Dollars and Zero Cents ($42,219.00).
3. Matching funds from Roseview Transit Rider donations and the City of Richmond,
Indiana, in the amount of Seven Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars and Forty -One Cents
($7,450.41) shall be appropriated to support this grant application.
4. All grant funding, if awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be appropriated to help
fund the Roseview Transit transportation services from fiscal year 2011 to 2012.

Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
