AN ORDT.NANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, TRAN_
SFERRING CERTAIN LANDS FROM ZONE R-1 INTO ZC)NE R_3,
The City Council of the City of Lynwood, California, doea
orda.in as follows, to-tuit:
Section �. That upon a hearing in the Council Chambers
of the City Council of the City oP Lyncvood, California., held upon
the 5th day of Decemb'er, 1944, at the hour of 5:00 o'clock P. M.,
oP said day, upon its fina2 report, duly made, noticed and posted
• as req_uired. by law, in relation to the proposed change of zones
y
covering the following deacribed property that is located in,the
City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California:
Lots 1296, 1297 and 1298, in Tract 3335, recorded in
Book 36, oage 42 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles
County, Cal iPornia;
Said lands are located in the City of Lynwood, County of
Los Angeles, 5ta.te of California, covering the area lying u�ithin
the boundary as followa; Commencing at the Northeast corner
of Lot 1296, in Tract 3335, recorded in Book 36, page 42 of
Maps; thence west in 2. direct line 127 feet, to the northwesterly
corner of said lot; thence 5outherly along the Westerly line
of Lots 1296, 1297 and 129� to the Southwest corner of Lot
1298 of s�id Tract; thence East alon$ the south boundary of
said Lot 1298; thence north along the East boundary of said
Lots 1?98, 1297 and 1296 to the point of beginning; The transfer
o° said described property that is now in Zone R-1 of said City of
L,ynwood, from said Zone R-1 as established by Section '7 of Ordinance No.
285 of said City into Zone R-3 as established by Section 7?�,of said
Ordinance. '
And the sald City Council further finds tha.t no ob,�ectS.ons,
either written or oral, have been:made to proposed change of zone

of said lands, and that the public convenience a.nd public necesaity

and the �:eneral welfare of the people of the City of Lynwood,
Calif ornia, require that said lands be changed and transferred �
as reported in said Final Report,
SECTION �, That the above described land, now in Zone R-1
' oP'said. City of Lyn�vood, be and the same is hereby taken from Zone �
, R-L as established by Section 7 of Ordinance nto. 285 of said City
and placed in Zone R-3 as established by Section 7� of said O.rdinance.
SECTIOTd 3, That the City Engineer of said City be instruc-
,ted to amend the zoning map of sa.id City to show that s�id lands
described in Section 1 of this Ordinance have been changed and
: tranaferred from Zone R-1 into Zone R-3 as established by Ordin-
a.nce No. 285 of said City of LynFiood.
SECTIOid 4 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption �
� of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once
in the °L.ynwood Press,�' a legal newapaper printed and published
and circulated in the City of Lynwood, California.
