ALL OTHER ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF THE ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREPJITH,
The City Council of the City of L,ynwood doee ordain as
follours:
Section 1. That a certain document, three (3) copies
of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City
�of Ly,nwood, being marked and designated as "Uniform Building Code,

1943 E�ition, published May 1, 1943 by Pacific Coast Building
Officials Conference," be and the same is hereby adopted as the
building code of,the City of_Lynwood for.regulating the erection,
conatruction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal,
demolition, conversion, occupa.ncy, equipment, use, height, area,
and maintenance of all buildings andjor structures in the City
of Lynwood; providing for issuance of permits and collection of
fees therefor; providing penalties for violation oY such code,
declaring and establishing fire zones; and each and all of the
regulations, provisions, penaltiea, conditions, and terms of such
"Uniform Building Code, 1943 Edition, published May 1, 1943 by
the Pacific Coast Bi:ilding Officia.ls Conference," on file in the
office of the City Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted, and made
a part hereof as if fully set out in this Ordinance.
Section 2. That Ordinanc � No. 141,_209, 240, 294, 346
- and 366 of the City of Lynwood entitled� "An Ordinance Regulating
the erection, construction, moving, repair, d-emolition and occu-
pancy of buildings and structurea in the City of Lyna�ood.°, and,

"Ordinance prohibitimg the employment of laborers and mechanics
who were not residents of said City on the 9th day of March, 1933.M,
and all other Ordinances or parta of Ordinancea in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That the entire incorporated area of the City
of Lynwood ia hereby declared to be and is hereby established as
a Fire District a.nd said fire district ehall be kno�n and designated
as Fire Zones 1, 2 and 3, and each such zone shall include such
territory or portions of said city as illustrated, outlined and
designated on a certain map on file in the office of the City Clerk
oP the City of Lynwood being marked and desi�nated as �'niap No. 2 �� I
of Fire Zones of the City of Lynwood, dated May 1, 1945°, which ''
is hereby adopted as the fire zoning map of the City of Lynwood for
the apnlication of the regtzlations included in the °Uniform Building
Code 1943 Edition, published May 1, 1943, by Pacific Coast Building
Officials Conference,"
Section 4, That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same m be published
in the Lynwood Presa.
