Section 3 : Housemover�s Permit - Iesuance. (a) All housemovers permits shall Ue granted b� the Building Inspector, except in cases of Relocation Permits as hereinaf ter provided. (b) Each application for a housemover�s permit must show: l. The kind of building or structure to be moved. 2. The street loca.tion or other identifying description to which it is pro;oosed to be moved if relocated in the City of Lynvuood, and the route over, along, acroes and upon Vihich said building or structure, section or portion thereof is to be moved, 3. The number of aections in which the building or structure will be moved, 4. The time c+hen it is proposed to be moved and within which removal will be completed. (c} No housemover's permit shall be granted until the applicant has filed with the City ;•:4a.nager a written statement that each public utility vahich ma,y be a.ffected by the granting of such application has received notice of the filing, ,or.intention �o file, the applicat9.on. (d) Whenever any building or structure is proposed tio be moved iiz more than one section or portion,�a sep�rate permit 3ha11 be issued for the moving of each section or portion of said building or structure. No permit shall authorize the moving of more than one buildi�g or structt�re, or more than one section or portion of.any building or structure in any case v;here any building or structure is to k moved in two or more sectior.s or portions. Svery such permit shall become and be boid unless such renoval sha11 be completed tvithin the time specified in the application for such permit; provided, hoi°Jever, that the City Manager may extend such time when the moving of any ouilding or �tructure, or any section or portion thereof, ic rendered impracticable by reason of inclemency of the v�eather, atri�es, or -2- or otner causes not within the control of the housemover. Section 4: Housemovers - Interference with utility property. A?o housemover shall interfere in any manner ta�hatsoever with any propert� of any public u.tility. Section 5: Housemover - Iviust pay a license. n�o housemoving permit shall be issued to any ho�3semover , pursuailt to the terms hereof unless such housemover shall have taken out the necessary business license as provided by ord.inance. Section�6: No permit shall be issued to any housemover pursuant to the terms hereof, until the ap�?licant therefor shall have deposited the following amount for the follo�aing classes of buildings, as said buildings are classified in Section 1 hereof: For Class °A° permit, Ten Dollars (�10.00); For Class °B°�'permits Twenty-five Dollars (�"25.00); For Class °C° permits, Fifty Dollars (�`50.00); For Class °D!!` perrnits, One Hundred Dollars (y�100.00); For Class °E° permits, Two Hundred Fifty Dollars (�250.00), for the first day which is required to move such building or section ,, • or portion thereof as stated in the application hereinabove provided_ for, Hox�ever, in lieu of posting a separate bond Yor,each house moving permits, a blanket bond of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars (�250.00) may be posted cvith the City of Lynwood for various r.noving permits lnsofa.r as total bonds requ'rred for ia number of permits outstanding shall not exceed the $�p250.00 bond posted. When such a blanket bond is posted, the permit fees shall be the same as the bond dedtactions set forth in Section No. 10 of this Ordinance, Section '7 : Housemovers - Inspection. r -3- • � Every Building or structure, or section or portion ' thereof, moved over, upon, along or across any street may, at the option of the Gity �4anager, be moved under his inspection and supervision. Where The City �-ianager required inspection he shall appoint an inspector for the moving of any building or structure and of each section or portion thereof, at a salary of Ttvo Dollars ' (�2.00) per hour, provided that in case two or more buildings or structures, or two or more sections or nortions thereof are being moved at the same time along a route or routes so situated that one person can inspect the same, only one inspector shall be appointed therefor. Section 8 : Housemovers - P,lethods of Iv?oving. It shall be the duty of an,y housemover �vhen required by the City Manager, to cauae boards of sufficient strength to carry the load r!ithout breaking to be placed .under e.11 of the ro11s or wheels to serve as a runway for such rolls or wheels during the removal of any. building or structure, or section or roortion there- of along every street improved in any other manner than by asphalt, ccncrete or brick, and at no time shall such rolls or wheels be permitted to revolve except upon such board run�vay when the same ; is required by the City IvIana�er. .
