CALL TO ORDER

The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of September 6, 2005, was convened at 5:45 P.M.
by Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Berry, Crane, * *Ferguson (arrived at 5:58 P.M.), Harvey, Layton, *Pope
(arrived at 5:55 PM), and Schnitzler
Absent: Berry, Brown and Vogel
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda
Mayor John Landwehr stated that he has received quite a number of calls from people in the
community about what the city is doing for the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. He stated he will
be giving some information to the public in the regular meeting following this meeting.
*Councilman Bryan Pope arrived at this point in the meeting.
BUSINESS
City Administrator Rich Mays suggested that the Council schedule a Finance Committee
meeting to finalize the budget.
BILLS INTRODUCED
2005 -62: Councilman Bryan Pope stated he wishes to amend this bill to change the effective
date from 30 days to 60 days to allow appropriate time for compliance.
