POSE OF PIC?�ING UP AND DISCTiARGING PASSENG�RS,
AND FIXIl�TG A FEE ON THE BASIS OF EACH SCHEDULED
BUS TRIP, APTD REQUIRING POLICE DEPART�+.�NT IDENTIFICA-
TION FOR CERTAIN TYPES OF LICENSES.
The City Council of the City oP I,ynwood, California, does ordain

as follows:
Section l : That Ordinance No. 418 of the City of Iynwood, be
amended by adding the following section thereto:
Section 26A: Every hawker, solicitor, peddler or vendor who
does not have a fixed place of business within said City o£ Lynv✓ood
• shall £urnish full identification to and receive an identification
card from the Police Department of the City of Lynwood. This identi-
fication card must be presented to the license collector before any
license can be_issued. "
Such identification shall includa fingerprints, photo�raph
or photographs, and such other data and information as the Chief of
�olioe may deem necessary or advisable to provide complete identifica-
tion. The Chief oP Police hereby is authorized and directed to take
such photograph or photographs and such fingerprints and other data
and infornation as he may deem necessary or advisable in order to
furnish complete and satisPactory identification under this general
licensing ordinance.
Section 2 : That Ordinance No. 418 of the City of Lynwood, be
amended to adding the following section thereto:
Seetion 33B: (a) Purpose of this ordinance is to license
persons, firms or corporations that run scheduled buses upon the
streets of the City of Lynwood that are operating without franchises.
(b) For the purpose of this section a scheduled trip is defined
to mean a complete circuit route within the city limits of Lynwood or
to mean that the scheduled passage of a bus from one city limit boundary
through another city limit boundary shall constitute a scheduled trip.
(c) All bus lines that pick up and discharge passengers on the
streets within the City of Lynwood must pay a business license fee
as follows;
For each regularly week-day scheduled trip as set forth
in the official timetables or time schedules of any
person, firm or corporation operating such bus lines,
• he shall pay a license fee of �2.00 per scheduled trip
per year. This fee is payable semi-annually and will be
based upon an average of the scheduled trips as herein
define� for each period.
Section 3:. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Ordinance and ahall forthwith cause the.same to be
published once in the "Lynwood �resa; a weekly newspaper of general
circulation, printed, publiehed and circulated within said City oP
Lynwood and which is hereb� designated for auch publication.
