FINIAIG GAR$AGE AND TRASH AND PROVIDING AND REGU-
LATING TH� KEEPIA'G, COLLF.CTION, AND DISPOSAI,
THEREOF AIdD FOR TAE COLLECTION OF SEftVICE CHARCES
FOR SUCH SERVICE AND PP.ESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE
VIOLATI�N OF SUCH ORDIPS,�NCE.
The City Gouncll of the City of Lynwoo3 does ordain as
follows:
Section 1: Tha.t O:dinance No. 433, Section 10, Subsection
b, is hereby amended to read as follo�vs:
For all apartment hou�'ses, flats, courts, motels, or
multiple family dwellin�s, forty cents (40¢) per month for each unit
for the same collection service as rendered for single family d�,vellinga
up to and including four units and 25¢ f'or each additional unit.
Section 2: Ordinance No..433, Section 12 is hereby amended
to read as follo�vs:
The above fees shall be charged and billed as a monthly
service charge, payable ttivo months in advance. Aio credit will be
allowed ior a portion of � month's service. The City Treasurer shall
be responsible for all monies collected and shall deposit the same
in the General rund of the City._ An accurate recor3 shoNing service
and collections on each location shall be kept. Where it can be shown
by the affidavit of any person that garbage service ie not required
and that the public health and welfare will not suffer or be impaired
thereby, the City f�?anager may, after investigation, if such condition
appears to iiim to exist, c�,ncel or ad,just said charge for any collec-
tion period in a proper and equitable manner; provided that the City
t�danager shall not grant exemptions in the case of sinale Pamily
dyellings.
Section 3: Section 10; Subsection b, oP Ordinance No. 433
and Section 12 of Ordinance No: 433 as they no�v read are hereby

Section 4: The City Clerk ie hereby ordered and
directed to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause
the same to be puUlished once in the Lynivood Press, a newspaper
of general circulation printed, published, and circulated in the
City of Lynts�ood.
