AN ORDINAPICE OF THE CITY OF LYD?l"100D, CALIFORPSIA,
AP�IENDING QRDIN'�?CE N0. 382, SECTIOld 14.
The City Council of the City of Lyn^�ood does ordain as
follows:
S ection 1 : That Section�l4 of Ordinance No. 382 be
amended to read as follo�rrs:
Section 14: In the matter of subdivisiors of land, the
owner or subdivider shall submit to the City Engineer of said City
' two (2) copies of plans and specifications shomrin� propoeed =..ater
system in sa.id subdivision. Such plans and specifications shall
conform to standard requirements of the City of Lynwood 17ater
Department and shall bear the approval of the City Engineer, prior
to any construction. .
All water-distribution systems sh�zll be conatructed
� by and at the expense of the subdivider. This requirement may be
waived where the subdivider elects to pay into the Lynwood �Nater
Denartment the sum of One and_ Twenty-five One/hundredths Dollars
(�1.25) per lineal foot of main as shown on the approved plan, in
which case such work ahall be constructed by the City of Lynti�rood.
Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
to certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to
be published once in the Lynwood Press, a nevrspaper of general circu-
lation printed, published, and circulated in the City of Lyn�filood.
This ordinance shall be effective thirty days aPter passage.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 7th day of January 194 7.
