ORDINANCE N0. 449
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWGOD ESTABLISHTIVG
A SET BACK BUTLDING LIN'E ON ABBOTT ROAD IN THF
CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA.
The City Council of the City of Lynvrood doea orda.in as
f ollows:
Section l: That there ie hereby establiehed a building
setback�line of seventy (70) feet from center line of said Abbott
Road on both sides of Abbott Road in the City of Lynwood Yrom its
point of intersection with Century Boulevard to the easterly boundary
of said Gity, and that between said points on Abbott Road no building
� or structure shall be erected or conatructed nearer than seventy -(70)
Peet from center 1:1ne of Abbott Road facing on each side of Abbott
Road, and the Building Inspector of the City of Lynwood is hereby
directed to not issue any building permit to construct any building
.
nearer than seventy �(70) feet from center line of Abbott Road between
� said points. �

- Sectibn 2: The word "structure" ia hereby�defined to include
any post, sign, fenee, box, machine, device or other obstruction.
Section 3: Any violation of thia ordina.nce shall be a mis- .
; demeanor and upon conviction thereof �hall be puniahable by a fine of

�: not r�ore than Three Hundred Dollars (�300.00) or by imprisonment for
a period not more than ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and
- imprieonment.
Section 4: The.City Clerk shall certify to the passa.ge t�nd
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
once in the Lynrrood Press, a newspaper puhlished, pri.nted and circulated
in the City of Lynwood, CaliPornia, and which said newepaper is hereby
