AiJ ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AIt4FNDING
ORDINA�TCE NO.. 415, AN ORDIN6NCE E3TABLISHING
A SET BACK BUILDINU LINE ON LANG BEACH BOULE-
VBRD IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, BY
AMENDING SECTION 1 AND BY ADDING SECTIONS 2�
AND 2 3/4 THERETO.
The City Council oP tne City oP Lynwood doea ordain as
follows:
Sectlon 1: That 3ection 1 of Ord.inance No. 415 be amended
to read as follows;
9ection 1: That there is hereby established a building
aetback line of ten (10) Peet on both sides of Long Beach Boulevard,
in the City of Lynwood. from Fernwood Avenue on the North to Orchard
Avenue on the South, and from Imperial Highway on the South to Tweedy
Boulevard on the North, and that between said points on Long Beach
Boulevard no building or etructure shall be erected or constructed
nearer than ten (10) feet from the property line facing on each side
of Long Beach Boulevard, and the Building Inspector of the City of
Lynwood is hereby directed to not iseue any building percriit to con-
struct any building nearer than ten (lb) feet of Long Heach Eoulevard
between Fernwood. Avenue and Orchard Avenue, and between Imperial High-
�uay and Tweedy,Boulevard.
Section 2: That a new section known ae Section 2?- ahall
be added to read a.s follows: �
Section 2Q: The word "Structure" is hereby defined to
include any post, sign, fence, box, machine, device or other obstruetion.
Section 3: That a new section known as Section 2 3/4 shall
be added to read as followe:
°Section 2 3/4: That there Ss hereby established a building
setback line of seven (7) feet on both sides of Long Heach boulevard
in the City of Lynwood, from Beechwood Avenue on the north to Fernwood
Avenue on trie south, and that between said points on Long Beach

boulevard no building or atructure ahall be erected or conatructed
nearer.than seven (7) feet Prom the property line facing on each
side of Long Beach Boulevard, and the Building Inapector of the '
City of Lynwood is hereby directed to not issue any building permit
to construct any building nearer than aeven (7) feet of Long Beach
Aoulevard between Beechwood Avenue and Fernwood Avenue.
Section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause said ordinance to be published
once in the Lynwood Press, a weekly newspaper of general circulation,
printed, publiahed and circulated within said City of Lynwood and
which newapaper is hereby designated for that purpose.
