AN ORDINAIJCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
ORDIPJANCE N0. 422, COPhI:10r1LY KNO��N AS THE ZONING
ORDINAIJCE, BY ADDING A DEFSNITI011 THERETO.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance DIo. 422 is _ _
amended by adding thereto the following definition of a'�rumpus
room'� to be inserted between the definitions of "reat homea" and
"sanitariums" in said section of said ord.inance:
"Rumpus Room'�: A room attached to and made a part of a
build:ino or an accessory building and deaigned and used for enter-
tainment, gamea, etc. 9 rumpus room shall consist of but one main
room and may have a powder room and toilet. It may also have a
fireplace, barbecue pit and sink, but shall have no kitchen that
is intended for, designed or used for the general cooking or the
preparation of food. A rumpus room shall not be used as a separate
_ apartment, or otherwise employed to circumvent any of the provisions.

if he has reasonable doubts as to the good faith of any person
applying for a permit to build a rumpus room, that any such person
submit such plans to the Planning Commission of the City and apply
to said Commiasion for permit to build a rumpus room, Said Comm3asion
may grant or deny, or grant upon conditions, e.ny such application.
