CALL TO ORDER

The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of September 19, 2005, was convened at 5:45 P.M.
by Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
following Council Members were present:
Present: Berry, Brown, Crane, *Ferguson (arrived at 5:58 P.M.), Harvey, Layton,
Martin, *Pope (arrived at 5;55 PM), and Vogel
Absent: Schnitzler
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
RESOLUTIONS
Mayor John Landwehr distributed copies of Resolution RS2005 -6 and explained the
background regarding the city's involvement in endorsing the "adoption" of Waveland,
Mississippi following the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He stated that this issue has just
arisen in the last couple of days, and he asked that the Resolution be added to the agenda and
acted upon by the Council tonight.
CONSENT AGENDA
Charlie Brzuchalski will be present to explain the request for waiver of special tax lien and
answer any questions by the Council.
*Councilman Kenneth Ferguson arrived at this point in the meeting (5:58 PM).
