AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNTA
Ait�ENDIPdG SEGTION 13 OF ORDINANCE N0. 382.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood, does orda3n as

Section l: That section 13 oP Ordinance No. 382 of the
' City of'Lyn�vood-shall be amended to read as follows: '
' $eetion 13:
, 44ater service shall be discontinued by the said department
� on all flat rate accounta remaining unpaid two (2) montha after such
� account fi.rat becomes due and payable.
Service shall be discontinued on all meter accounts re-
maining unpaid one (1) month after auch account_becomes due and pay-
able. Provided there is a depoait to aecure payment of water charoes,
" water service shall be discontinued on any such account, immediately
• `upon the deposit being exhausted or water service discontinued by the

- department for failure to pay water chargee as.in thia ordinance
specified and water eervice�shall not again re-est».blish until all
• arreara are paid and the required c3eposit made and an additional
charge of �1.00 for the expenae oP disoontinuin� and re-establisYiing

-, such service ahall be made for the first disconneation during any
.one c�.lendar year,and an additional eharge of �25.00 for the,expense
` of discor.tinuing and re-establishing such service for each other in-
� stance wheri it_becomes neceas�?ry to discontinue and re-establish any
such serv.ice during any one calendar year; provided, that in the
event the City discontinuea water service pursuant to this ordinance
and such water service is re-established .without the payment of said
fees or without due autnorization from the City of Lynwood, the owner
�. or user o�' any such water or water service shall be presumed to have
. effected or authorized such unlawful re-establishment of water service
until tne contrary fs, satisfacto'rily established. '

? Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed
� to certify.to the passage of this ordinance and to cauae the same
to bepublished once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper oP general
circulation printed and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
