The Transportation and Public Safety Commission will now hear public
comments regarding items not listed on the agenda. The procedure to address
the Commission is highlighted on the first page of this agenda.

All consent calendar items may be approved in a single motion as recommended
unless removed for further discussion. If members of the Commission or persons
in the audience wish to discuss any matters listed on the Consent Calendar,
please address them at this time.

you wish to address the Transportation and Public Safety Commission, please complete a
speaker request form, indicating the agenda item number and submit it to the Clerk. There will
be a 3-minute time limit on each speaker, unless waived by the Commission. You have the
opportunity to address the Commission at the following times:

A. SURVEY OF STREET SWEEPING ON CUL-DE-SACS.
Presentation: Management Analyst Coyne
The Transportation and Public Safety Commission is requested to:
a) Discuss staff’s finding; and
b) Provide direction to staff for further action to be taken, if necessary.
8. NEW BUSINESS
A. TRAFFIC CIRCULATION PROGRAM FOR LONGDEN ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL.
Presentation:
Staff and Transtech Engineers will present a proposed pilot traffic
circulation program to address traffic circulation issues during drop-off and
pick-up of students at Longden Elementary School. Proposed measures
include restricting turning movements and parking around the school
during drop-off and pick-up hours.
Recommendation:
Approve implementation of pilot traffic circulation program.
