CALL TO ORDER

The December 16, 2005, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:00 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Berry ( *arrived at 12;15 P.M), Brown, Ferguson ( *arrived at 12:25
P.M.), Harvey, Layton, Martin, and Vogel
Absent: Crane, Pope, and Schnitzler
A quorum was not present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Items were not necessarily discussed in order that they appeared on the agenda.
Public Hearing (a) & associated Bills 2005 -118 and 2005 -119: Mayor John Landwehr
asked where the final development agreement was regarding the Clary Development
project, and asked staff to get it from City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus so it can be provided
to all interested parties before Monday night's meeting.
Public Hearing (b): Councilman Kevin Brown stated he thinks there needs to be an
opportunity for all parties to sit down and work things out before the Council takes any
action on this item. Mayor John Landwehr stated if a public hearing has already been
scheduled, and people show up for that hearing, it would not be good to suddenly
announce the hearing was not going to be held.
*Councilman Michael Berry arrived at this point in the meeting.
Discussion continued regarding public hearing (b). Mayor John Landwehr asked that some
determination be made before the meeting on Monday night, and that unless he hears
otherwise the scheduled hearing will occur.
BILLS INTRODUCED
Bill 2005 -129: Councilman Kevin Brown and Assistant Community Director Charles
Lansford requested that Councilman Layton be added as a co- sponsor to this bill.

*Councilman Kenneth Ferguson arrived at this point in the meeting.
INFORMAL CALENDAR
2005 -115: This will remain on the Informal Calendar.
NEW BUSINESS:
Councilman Kevin Brown asked the Council to consider January 9 at 5:320 P.M. as a date
for the next Finance Committee meeting.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no other business brought forward, the meeting adjourned at 12:30 P.M.
