A RESOLUTION APPROVING ALLIANT ENERGY TO INSTALL THE STREET
LIGHTS IN ANDERSEN ADDITION — PART TWO AND FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN TO
ACCEPT FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY THEREOF
Whereas, The City recognizes that Alliant Energy needs a Resolution to move forward
with the installation of street lights in the Andersen Addition — Part Two development,
and;
Whereas, The Developer has provided proof of payment for the street lights as is
required in the developer's agreement to Alliant Energy on August 25, 2022, and on
October 11, 2022, and;
Whereas, The City recognizes and accepts the financial responsibility that comes with
the installation of the street lights,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
Alliant Energy to install street lights in Andersen Addition — Part Two and accept the
financial responsibility thereof.
On the 1st day of November, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-078, A
RESOLUTION APPROVING ALLIANT ENERGY TO INSTALL STREET LIGHTS IN
ANDERSEN ADDITION — PART TWO AND FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN TO ACCEPT
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY THEREOF and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Orris.
Ayes: Orris, Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens, Olney.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2022-078, A RESOLUTION APPROVING
ALLIANT ENERGY TO INSTALL STREET LIGHTS IN ANDERSEN ADDITION —
PART TWO AND FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN TO ACCEPT FINANCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY THEREOF to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 1st day of October, 2022.
