I apologize once again for the inconvenience you have been experiencing with your electric service. As I explained to you, the cause of the outage on 12/27 was due to a pole Fre located in front of 606 N Ocean Blvd, Delray Beach; just south of George N Ocean Blvd. The line had to be de -energized in order to safely isolate the fire. The call you received from our automated system stating the reason for outage as "storm" related was incorrect. The crew had used a preliminary coding before starting to do work and did not changed to the correct coding until after you had received the call. This incident has been reported to our management, communications department, and crew supervisors to seek areas of improvement. On my last e-mail, I communicated that we will be working at on replacing equipment at 8 locations identified on our infrared inspection and work is scheduled to be complete by 2/14/14. We will also be replacing the pole that caught fire last week. Please note that we are committed to improve your service and will be making every effort to complete the work sooner.
