AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2010 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2010 on September 28th, 2009 with Ordinance 40-2010; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2010 budget be amended as follows:
A. General Fund — Police
1. Delete $15,000.00 from Salaries and Wages — Patrolman
Account number 101.07.070.110.000.1163
2. Delete $8,900.00 from 911 Salary Contribution
Account number 10 1. 10. 100. 140.000.1242
3. Add $18,900.00 to Other Garage and Motor Supplies
Account number 101.07.070.110.000.2213
4. Add $5,000.00 to Tires and Tubes
Account number 10 1. 10. 100. 140.000.2212
