Member Cavanaugh introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-117
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF BETH NIELSEN
FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, on January 1, 2019 the City Council appointed Beth Nielsen to the Planning
Commission, with a term to expire on December 31, 2024; and
WHEREAS, on October 8, 2023, Beth Nielsen submitted a letter of resignation from her
position on the Planning Commission effective December 31, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina that
Beth Nielsen’s letter of resignation from the Planning Commission is hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Reid and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Albers, Cavanaugh, DesLauriers, Martin, Reid,
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
