Member Cavanaugh introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-119
EXHIBIT C FOR
LOCAL ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM GRANT AGREEMENT
GRANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SAP 250-103-002
WHEREAS, the City of Medina has applied to the Commissioner of Transportation for a
grant from the Local Road Improvement Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation has given notice that funding for this
project is available; and
WHEREAS, the amount of the grant has been determined to be $752,071.20 by reason of
the lowest responsible bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The City of Medina does hereby agree to the terms and conditions of the grant consistent
with Minnesota Statutes, section 174.52 and will pay any additional amount by which the
cost exceeds the estimate and will return to the Local Road Improvement Fund any
amount appropriated for the project but not required.
2. The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to execute a grant
agreement on behalf of the City of Medina and any amendments thereto with the
Commissioner of Transportation concerning the above-referenced grant.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Reid and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
