A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP
FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL FROM R-3, TO C-4
Whereas, the Zoning Map designates certain property commonly known as 5120 Old
National Road, and legally described as follows, to wit:
A part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 14,
Range 1, beginning at a point in the center line of the Wayne
County Turnpike, said point being five hundred (500) feet south
seventy-four (74) degrees east from the point of intersection of the
center line of the Gravel Pit Road with the center line of said
Turnpike, and running thence south seventy-four (74) degrees east
with the center of said pike six hundred forty-three (643) feet to the
west fence of a lane; thence north with the west line of said lane
ninety-five (95) feet to the south right of way line of the old
Dayton and Western Railway; thence north fifty-four (54) degrees
west, with said R/W line, seven hundred sixty-four (764) feet to
the center of the bridge; thence south three hundred sixty-seven
(367) feet to the place of beginning, containing three and twenty-
eight hundredths (3.28) acres, more or less.

as an R-3 One to Eight Family Residential District as outlined on Exhibit A; and
Whereas, it is desirable to change the above described real estate's zoning designation to C-
4 General Business District in order to allow the owner to use said real estate to
develop the tract as commercial property.
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the zoning designation for the above described property is changed to C-4.
Passed and Adopted this 6th day of July , 2009, by the Common Council
of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
