CALL TO ORDER
The May 12, 2006, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:05 P.M. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Brown, Harvey, Layton, Martin, and Vogel
Absent: Berry, Crane, Ferguson, Pope, and Schnitzler
A quorum was not present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Public Hearings:
Mayor John Landwehr stated if the Council wants to place any of the items associated with
the six pubic hearings on the informal calendar to please let him know soon. And if that's
the case, he will announce it at the beginning of the meeting Monday night. Following
discussion, several Council Members stated they would have no problem with voting on
items (d) and (e) but that they would like more time to discuss item (f) and the associated
bill. Mayor John Landwehr suggested that a work session could be scheduled some time
before the next regular Council meeting to discuss this item. Mayor Landwehr asked City
Planner Janice McMillan and City Administrator Steve Rasmussen to contact the Council
members who are absent today and let them know what was discussed.
Bills Introduced:
2006 -18: Councilman Kevin Brown had questions about this and Mayor John Landwehr
asked Fire Chief Robert Rennick and City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus to get with
Councilman Brown and provide him with some more information.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no other business brought forward, the meeting adjourned at 12:55 P.M.
