Present were Mr. L. Seton Lindsay, Mayor; Mr. William T. Jebb, Vice - Mayor; and Mr. Wm. J. Bauer, Town Clerk and Tax Collector. The minutes of the meeting held on Feb.12, 1951 were read and approved. Officer Cooper reported on condition of the roads and was instructed to see that repairs be.•made promptly. He also reported that the hydrant in the vicinity of Jamaica Sq«are is being replaced today. Residents in the vicinity were notified of a possible cut -off of)F water for a brief period. Cooper authorized to purchase 2 pr uniform trousers. The Town Clerk reported that the water meter readings were as follows: Feb. 28, 1951 2,139,000 individual 11 1,958,000 madter The Commissioners approved the attacked list of bills. The Bank balance as of 14arch 12, 1951, was reported as $7,862.91. It was moved, seconded, and passed to pay a special officer to direct traffic at Gulf Stream Bath & Tennis Club, 06.00 each night he serves on Thursday and Sunday nights during the season rush. The clerk was instructed to compile figures for an estimated buket. It was decided to have the Tax Equalization Board meet in the near future.
