CALL TO ORDER
The June 16, 2006, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:05 P.M. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Brown, Ferguson, Harvey, Layton, Martin, and Vogel
Absent: Berry, Crane, Schnitzler, and Pope
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Bills Pending:
2006 -19: City Planner Janice McMillan explained what the substitute versions accomplish,
and stated that Substitute #2 should be the final version voted on.
Informal Calendar:
2006 -13: The Council stated they need to have some kind of list of the items which have
been agreed upon by the city and the developers before they vote on Monday night.
2006 -18: City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus explained what each of the substitutes
accomplish. Discussion was held regarding the order in which the various versions can be
brought up and voted on.
Resolutions:
RS2006 -9: A lengthy discussion was held regarding how the city will fund its portion for this
project.
New Business:

Discussion was held regarding rescheduling the July 3 Council Meeting since that falls
during the middle of the city's Fourth of July event in which numerous city staff and some
elected officials will be participating.

There being no other business brought forward, the meeting adjourned at 1:05 P.M.
