HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolutions-2022-092RESOLUTION NO. 2022-092 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLATS OF ASTER VILLAGE — PART TWO Whereas, MMS Consultants Inc., on behalf of Aster Holdings 1, LLC, has filed with the City of Tiffin a preliminary and final plat for Aster Village — Part Two, legally described on the attached Exhibit "A", and; Whereas, the Tiffin Planning & Zoning Commission has reviewed and recommended the preliminary plat for approval on a 3-0 vote at its November 2022 meeting, and; WHEREAS, The City Staff has reviewed and given their recommendations for the plat, and; WHEREAS, The City of Tiffin's Building Department and City Attorney has given their review and comments of said preliminary and final plats and subject to certain revisions, provided however that no improvements shall be constructed or installed without their written approval, which may be withheld until such time as all necessary permits have been issued from the state and federal agencies. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the Preliminary and Final Plats for Aster Village — Part Two is hereby approved; and further that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute any documents necessary at this time to approve the preliminary and final plats as submitted and as approved by the Building Department and City Attorney. On the 15th day of November, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-092, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLATS OF ASTER VILLAGE — PART TWO, and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris. Ayes: Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens, Orris, Olney. Nays: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2022-092, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLATS OF ASTER VILLAGE — PART TWO, to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
