Work Session - Call to Order 5:45 PM
A. Roll Call
The City of Tiffin City Council held a work session Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the City Hall Council
Chambers. Mayor Berner called the meeting to order at 5:47 PM. Upon roll being called the following
members were present: Chris Olney, Skylar Limkemann, Al Havens, Eric Schnedler, Tim Orris. Others
present City Administrator Doug Boldt, City Clerk Abigail Hora and Public Works Director Brian Detert.
B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve agenda by Olney.
Second by Schnedler.
All ayes, agenda approved.
C. Discussion and Review of Public Works Equipment Inventory and Replacement Schedule
Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt and Public Works Director Brian Detert reviewed the public
works equipment and schedule.
D. Discussion of Potential Local Option Sales Tax for City of Tiffin
Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt discussed LOST. Council discussed the pros and cons of this
however is ultimately up to the voters. Doug will be following up with additional LOST facts from the
Department of Revenue.
E. Questions from Council Members regarding items on the Regular City Council Agenda

Chambers. Mayor Berner called the meeting to order at 7:04 PM. Upon roll being called the following
members were present: Skylar Limkemann, Chris Olney, Eric Schnedler, Al Havens, Tim Orris. Others
present City Administrator Doug Boldt and City Clerk Abigail Hora.

Discussion: General Sentmen presented the Fire Department with a $750 check for their outstanding work to keep the fire
contained to the combine and from spreading a couple weeks ago.

Discussion: Tomas and Cassandra Palasiewicz of 202 Edelweiss Circle present and are in support
of the change.

Services for a Comprehensive Water System Evaluation and Council Action as Needed. Motion to

2. City Council Reports Discussion: Council Person Orris reported the Tiffin Community Fund

to the fence and hedge regulations.
