MINUTES - TO ?t!N OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA
Tie meeting of the Town Commissioners of the Town of Gulf Stream, was
held on Monday May 14, 1951, at 9:00 AM at the Town Hall.
Present were, Mayor Commissioner L. Seton Lindsay, Town Clerk Commissioner
G,m. J. Bauer, and Commissioner Stewart B. Iglehart.
The minutes of the meetings held April 9, 1951, April 23, 1951, and
May 5, 1951, were read and approved.
Police Chief E. vi. Cooper made aeneral report.
The water sales for the month of April 1951 were reported as 1,347,000
gallons sold to consumers.
The Commissioners approved payment of ull bills from April 17, 1951
through RAy 10, 1951, as per list attached.
The bank balance was reported as 0,930.70, as of Lay 10, 1951-
A plan on hours to be worked by Officer Cooper and officer Pollack,
and records to be kept on such hours, was discussed and approved.
On motion duly made and seconded, the Town Commissioners adjourned
its regular meeting and sittin6 as a Board of Equalization considered
the tentative budget which had been approved at the Town Commissioners
meeting held April 9, 1951, which tentative budget had been duly posted
at the Town Hall for over 15 days.
As no Taxpayer or voter raised any objection to the Tentative'Budget
in person or by mail, it was moved and seconded that the Budget as
posted be adopted and that the Bud et be certified to by the Tax
Collector and the the tax rate of 6Z' mills be approved.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.

assessment roll for the year 1051 was presented
and tentatively approved.
The Town Commission will sit as a Board of
Equalization on May 14th,1951 at 10 a.m.
