CALL TO ORDER

The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of August 21, 2006, was convened at 5:50 P.M. by
Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Berry, Brown, Crane, Ferguson, Harvey, Layton, and Pope
Absent: Martin and Vogel
quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Public Hearings:
Mayor John Landwehr asked if all three of the budget - related public hearings could be held at
the same time. Finance Director Steve Schlueter stated he will make all three presentations
at the same time, and Mayor Landwehr indicated the public will be given the opportunity to
speak to all three of the public hearings at the same time if they wish.
Bills Pending:
2006 -51: Councilman Mike Harvey stated he will place this bill on the Informal Calendar to be
voted on at the August 24 Special Council meeting.
2006 -45: A substitute bill was distributed and the changes were explained.
Councilman Kevin Brown stated he will make a motion to reconsider Bill 2006 -29 which was
defeated at the last Council Meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
